Our youth drama students, work on plays devised by them and their tutor. Often the script is created by the students or a known script is chosen by the tutor. All drama techniques including split scenes, flash backs/flash forwards are implemented as these give variations and can make a piece abstract and more interesting. Additional strategies will be used in our youth class such as hot seating and narrating.

Students in this class experiment with various different types of characters, accents and scenarios. Theme’s range from bullying, to real life events and disasters, to known T.V. programmes such as the X Factor.

Monologues and duologues are also worked on and students in this class are greatly encouraged to voice project, be aware of their audience and really get into the role of their character.

This class is vocal, active and very creative.
